It was stupid to eliminate Jerell and keep Korto, whose style is far more “out there” and unlovely when compared with Jerell. However, the problem would have been solved if the judges had stopped putting up with Kenley’s childishness about 3 episodes ago. I think she is the WRONG person to go to Bryant Park. Her attitude and conduct towards others is neither entertaining nor professional. People who act this way will never attract the capital to be successful designers in the long run, so including these naughty children just encourages the whining entitlement types to audition. I am disgusted.
How long will Kenley get away with these old dresses. Her wedding dress was done already this year. You want confirmation look at the Sex and City movie. If I want a dress like Kenley’s I will go into my mom’s closet. Oh how sad that Jerell had to go but his designs were a little too much. He did stand out. Like Tim would say “That was a lot of look”. Leanne wedding dress was beautiful but only a small women can wear her designs on a plus size person they would be swimming. Leanne collection all had the same wave pattern do she have anymore tricks ? My dear Korto is letting fear ovewhelm her. I am scared that she will not pull it togethor long enough to save her structured collection. We can not walk the streets with Kenley collection we would knock people over with all that fabric. Her collections have been done before leave it in the past. Jerell is gone but his collection would have got us arrested for street walking. Leanne’s collection will have us swimming in fabric for days on end. Korto collection would be a winner if she could get her head and heart back on one accord so she could be declared a WINNER!
Kenley sucks! Because she had one good week, she is in? I admit that last night was not Jerrell’s best work but he has won 3 or 4 challenges and has never been in the bottom, whereas Kenley won, what, 1 challenge and been in the bottom a couple of times. The judges really should have looked at the big picture and all the work from both of them. Kenley needs an attitude adjustment, even when Heidi gave her a compliment she still had that attitude and eye roll that she loves to do.
I was surprised to be pleased that Jerrell was sent home. I thought he was going to win the whole thing. However, I’m glad they sent him home. Would you want to wear that as your wedding dress? I don’t think it said wedding at all, and it was really similar to the dress he made in the last challenge. If we had to part with one of these designers, I think that Jerrell is the best choice. He’s so gifted, especially in the technical realm, that he’ll do well regardless. I like that they didn’t just make a pet out of him and overlook his shortcomings.
I can’t believe he is from South Central LA though; I have so much more respect for him after seeing that. It proves that he totally is himself and I think he has major cojones for being that unique in an environment that tough. I mean Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are from the same general area. It also proves that he had to work harder than most people to establish himself; I would wager that a very small percentage of the big designers out there grew up poor. That says to me that he had to be twice as good to get ahead.
Actually, I think that the top three is perfect as it is! If you look back at all of the past episodes and projects, Jerell was clearly the least consistent. Some of his designs towards the beginning were just plain bad. It’s almost as if he discovered himself as a designer on the show. Kenley, Leeane, and Korto really deserve it. Jerell had a really great TV personality, but that’s not what the purpose of show is for. He’s got talent but is clearly not the best. I also wish everyone would stop giving Kenley crap. She’s a great designer, and might not have your favorite personnality, but she definitely deserves to be at New York Fashion week. Put personalities aside and I say, let the best “designer” win.
Notice that the question is NOT: Which dress do you like the least? If that is the question, I am afraid that Korto — whose other lovely lovely garments (every single one of them) are the only ones I can describe in accurate detail — is the one I would pick. I cannot explain the decisions of the judges, which have seemed particularly inconsistent this season.
I am shocked that Kenley is still sewing. For the past two weeks her designs were horrible, yet she remains on the show. Her final collection is nothing but a rehash of her previous designs. By the way the judges were cooing about the ugly dresses she made for her final collection, I will not be surprised if they let HER win. In seasons past, contestants have been cautioned about making vintage clothing, but Kenley making vintage clothing is OK. Even DVF pretended that Kenley’s flowered KMART frock was beautiful!
I think that Leeanne is probably going to win because I don’t think the judges appreciate the ethnic tones in Korto’s designs. They prefer the safe don’t rock-the-boat pleated designs of Leeanne, whose clothing only fit the slightest of figures. This is why she stole Suede’s model because even Karalyn was too big for them.
I’m so tired of this Kenley bashing. Please. She may act like a spoiled brat sometimes, but this whole group of finalists needed an attitude adjustment now and then. Kenley is there because she designs creatively with a distinct point of view, she sews beautifully, and she creates fashionable garments (even if you don’t like her style). She’s been one of my top designers since the beginning, and her bridal gown was my favorite of the four. I was personally afraid that she would not make it past the Tim fiasco. Her response to him was appalling, but I think she and Tim moved past it. Remember people, this is reality tv. They have to put a show together from lots of footage to give drama to the story line. The people we see on tv are, at least in part, characters created through editing. We’re seeing one week condensed into an hour.
This is the first time that my favorite three made it to the finals, and I can’t wait to see each collection. Enough with the snarkiness!

I am a huge Project Runway fan! I think that all of the four designers left were amazing! They each are so different but so good. Leeanne is very geometrical and sophisticated. Korto is very ethnic and beautiful. Jerrel is crazy and fun. Kenley is very 50’s-60’s, funky. I dont know if Jerrel should have gone. I really would have loved to see more of his collection. I think Korto is a great designer, but the wedding dress was a big no! Kenley is so obnoxious it is hard to deal with for any longer. Also, everything she does has been done! In her final line, I would like to see something different from her. Leanne’s line seems like its gonna be great but everything will look very similar…. i am very excited!!!!!!
I am so disappointed in the elimination of Jerell.
My first objection is he won the challenge to determine who was to go to Bryant Park. So why was he punished because the judges could not decide who to eliminate. If the elimination choice was too hard, then Jerell should of had the first spot for Bryant Park,secured by his win of the challenge. Then the other three designers would have to compete for the two remaining spots.
Jerell,althought I was not fond of his wedding dress or bridesmaid dress, had won his spot for Bryant Park. And I was curious about his collection.
If we are being fair, Kenley should of been eliminated with the challenge when she dressed Leeann as hip hop–Look I’m 56 years old and I still could see Leeann was not hip hop. Kenley did what she wanted like the spoiled child she is. I just hope, Jerells talent is rewarded in the future.
So sad to see Jerell go…Korto had the weakest design. Thought Jerell showed the most promise from the little peek of the lines we got to see. I’m bored with Leanne, Korto’s designs are nice - not great. Kenley, let’s just hope that she grows up a little from this whole experience. Really this season was overall weak in the talent department compared to previous seasons.
I don’t understand how Joe and Suede got to show a collection at Bryant Park. They were both eliminated. Yet I see that their collections are up for auction. If they were given the opportunity to show, why weren;t we priviledged to see the collections on TV?
I love the show and never miss it. Please respond my curiosity is nudging me.

Kenley has GOT to GO. She is childish, arrogant and rude– she cannot even accept simple constructive criticism. And to use a cliche (because Kenley is a walking one) she is SUCH a one trick pony. ENOUGH of the cutesy little dresses, they were okay the first three times, but after episode 5, it got old, FAST. go home. and quite whining.
Jerrell was sent home too early– I mean, they told the guy he WON what was supposed to be the FINAL challenge, and then they sent him packing. i liked him, it’s too bad. his designs were fresh and innovative, i think if he had the chance to show, he would have been able to put on those “finishing touches” that his end results lacked and the judges were harping on. it was all time constraints. silly decision.
Leanne is good, but she is so…flat. Very boring, dull, almost sulky at times. Just her personality is so dry. Her designs are good, not SUPER, but well constructed and well-executed, with nice detailing. I just find something about Leanne a bit irksome, maybe it’s her lack of vibrancy. She deserves to be in the top three for sure though.
Korto is my favourite and I like her looks. I also love that she incorporates her culture into her designs. I like that she has overcome adversity (Liberia) to be where she is now, and i think it shows in her work ethic and perseverance. I like her bright colour palette and ethnic undertones. I think she could win– either Korto or Leanne, but I hope it’s Korto.
When I look back at other episodes I remeber some other designers that got under my skin and they ended up winning. I have ups and downs with Kennley, but I do have to say that she stands up for what she believes in and that is a very big part of being a designer. If you dont fully believe in yourself then you wont get anywhere. So good for Kennley for not letting people break her spirit. It takes all kinds to make this world go round! She made it further than a lot of people on this earth as far as following her dreams!
You’ve got to be kidding? Kenley made it in? I am shocked. This girl should have been booted a long time ago. That whining, crying, and martyr posturing was sooo hard to take. I hate to think that someone whose (overall) weekly challenges were never received as highly as Jerell’s, would be given this honor. It may not have been his best week….but his overall talent far exceeded hers. She needs a wake up call with that attitude. I hope that she will grow up …..look back at her performance from week to week on television…and use this as a lesson on how to be humble, appreciative and willing to accept constructive criticism. She’ll be in for some hard knocks if she doesn’t “get it” !!

my opinion is korto is the best & sews the best, she is just letting her nerves cut off her creative flow & is breaking down & now is the time she needs to keep it together. she is unique & new. RELAX KORTO… dont worry so much about winning, u r all winners. finishing in the top four makes u all winners.

The Project Runway Final 1 was preemted by Housewifes of Orange County. I came to the website to see who did not go to the final 3. Looking at the dresses, the two most attractive dresses were Kenley and Leanne. I thought Jerrell’s was the worst dress. I would like to have voted for Kenley because her attitude has been like a three year old. I kept waiting for her to be voted off. It seemed like she was in the bottom two for most of the show. But, I must admit her dress is the better dress of all four. Still, she will not do well in the fashion business with her attitude. No one will work with her or for her. This is too bad, since she does have the talent. Maybe she should see a therapist to help her through her anger issues.
I am so sad to see Jerrell go. Although i agree his wedding dress was a little over done, and the fabric on bottom did make it look dirty, I still loved the flowers he put on his bridesmaid dress. From the few outfits I saw his collection was defiantly my personal favorite. I really thought that judging purely on the wedding dress and bridesmaid dress Korto should have been eliminated, although I have been a big fan of hers throughout the season. Kenley really needs to stop all that talking back to the judges. I’m amazed she has not gotten kicked off yet, although Santino from season ….. I think it was 3 also did a lot of back talking and made it to the end also. I am sooo angry that I dont get to see the rest of Jerrell’s collection. I think Leeanne is going to win although i think her collection so far is very over cohesive.
I Think Kenley should of went home. She has a terrible attitude. She is so disrespectful. I hope Leeanne wins she has been so consistant the whole show . I love korto’s work too, but I think her nerves have gotten the best off her.
You guys can continue hating on Kenley. But the fact remains–her dresses obviously hold some merit, because she’s still here. Her designs are unbelievable cute. You can hate her personality if you wish, but that is no reason for her to be auf’d. Personality =/= Talent.
Leanne should get first place, Kenley second. I love Leanne’s polished, yet soft, sleek, and whimsical style.

I like Korto, but her designs just don’t do it for me. They all seem sort of frumpy. And she needs to invest in a brazirre.
Kenley makes for good TV. i could see her getting her own show like tabitha’s salon takeover. i like how she is so bold to disagree, while everyone else is cowering. she is no wimp. her designs r more for broadway though. she would be a great costume designer.
I agee with someone’s earlier comment - Jerrell got SCREWED!! He won the “who goes to Bryant Park” challenge and then got sent home anyway? Totally apart from anything else, that was bad form on the part of the producers, almost to the point of the old bait-and-switch.
Moving beyond that . .. if the decision was actually based solely on the wedding and bridesmaids dresses, then Korto should’ve been out - which would’ve been a shame, because most of her stuff has been completely awesome and so interesting and unique. I have seen several people say that they thought Jerrell’s wedding dress was too over the top, but 1) it seemed more well-made than Korto’s, 2) it actualy looked like a wedding dress, 3) his bridesmaid’s dress was MUCh better (does ANYONE argue with this?), and 4) personally, I loved Jerrell’s wedding dress. but if the decision wasn’t solely based on JUST the wedding and bridesmaid’s dresses, but also took into account the totality of their work - HOW COULD THEY POSSIBLY HAVE CHOSEN KENLEY OVER JERRELL????? Her personality aside (which everyone agrees is childish and will be a serious impediment to her career as a designer, or hell - any career she might pursue) - her work just hasn’t been anywhere near as good as his, as reflected throughout the entire series by the results of the judging. So I am left with a strong suspicion that this decision was made on the basis of “what will make for good/dramatic TV” - and since there’s been the big Kenley feud, then of course keeping her around will add to te drama. VERY disappointing, Bravo!

What is not mentioned here that I have seen is that the judges only see the final product, not the edited portions that get televised - get it people it’s TELEVISION, do you want to see everyone all happy with each other every shot? Talk about boring. I think alot of people would vote for Kenleys designs if they didn’t have a name attatched to them. There should be a contest online like was done before for favorite designer but just put a picture from each designer - from all that began this season - have a prize for that. Real UNBIASED contest.
I am so glad to see that Leanne is in the final 3!!!! She loves what she does and just by looking at her designs you can tell they are “Leanimal”.
As for her demure and quiteness-it is nice to see! Like a breath of fresh air. Leanne proves you don’t have to be loud and abnoxious to be a winner!

Honestly, I just don’t understand why Kenley still there. Mr. Kors made comments that she could make different styles, but I just don’t see it. It’s always the same style, just different variations and colors. I wouldn’t not wear her dress to my wedding even it I was paid to do it, on the other hand Jerell’s dress I would - not the flowers though.
But going back to Kenley’s designs, can someone please open my eyes and explain what I don’t see - that her styles are different? Tim, maybe you read the blogs.

this is my first season watching project runway and I loved it. However, I’m disappointed that Kenley is still there. She’s done the same 40-50’s wear through the whole show. I think she should’ve gone home weeks ago, especially with her attitude. I’m wondering if the show is rigged just to keep the drama there. I’m not sure it I’ll watch again because Jerrelle, Korto and Leanne should’ve been the final three. I thought because Jerelle won the challenge he would’ve been automatically in and going to Bryant Park?? Can someone explain to me why he didn’t get to go to Bryant Park. I thought Jerelle’s designs were hot and better than Korto’s
Philip, you are so correct…I thought I would never watch Bravo again after that hiedous Tabitha got her own show. she didn’t even win and she was so bad that she hated the other stylist and her parting remarks “that’s ok, he didn’t make” she is horrible and now on Project Runway that horrible rude and obnoxious Kenley is still there…it’s good tv to some but it’s amazing that Heidi being such a lady that she would tolerate…Kenley laughing when other designers were critiqued and then the last thing I remember is Hedi saying “that wasn’t elegant or something like that and Kenley (making her point more stongly) replied, I wasn’t going for Elegant Heidi…..so rude…

i love korto she has made some very sheek and amazing designs. she made one mistake oh well. she is still better than kenley with he mean self. korto i am praying for you knock their socks off. keep it real. and amazing.
My, don’t we have different opinions. The judges know what they are doing; give them some credit. Kenley is still there because she has great potential, craftsmanship, and her point-of-view is retro. So what! Plus, she gives the show some drama. You must admit, she has everyone talking about her. What would Project Runway be without Kenley for an hour? Dry and boring with talented designers sewing away and discussing how their dream is to go to Bryant Park.
Anyway, the last challenge was to determine their spot, regardless of how they did in the past. Jerell’s negative comment about the bridesmaid dress/challenge may have caused his downfall as well as his overthetop design.
I have no idea who will win. I respect all three designers, at least from their “point-of-views”. I have an architectural background and enjoy Leanne’s translations and workmanship; I love retro and Kenley’s spunk; And Korto has beautiful craftmanship and cultural flare.
I am excited to see how they “make it work” together.
I’m glad the producers dispensed with the show where all the designers come back and sit in the bleachers to bitch and moan about the experience and each other. What I would like to see is an episode that edits together the runway challenges of the final three designers and forces the judges (and perhaps Tim Gunn) to talk about each of these pieces as if they were a collection –even including the pieces that missed or nearly sent a designer home. Much of this earlier work qualified a designer to “go on to the next challenge,” but audiences were never privileged to hear what the judges actually thought about the work because they only discuss the best and the worst. It would be interesting to see all the challenges of the designer finalists together, to see if a design style emerged in the collected work of a particular designer despite the special problems of a particular challenge, and to hear judges expectations from a particular designer after reviewing the work of the finalist as an assembled “collection,” even though the work was never intended as a collection but as individual responses to a specific design problem.
Jerrell definitely should noet have been eliminated. His wedding dress was definitely the most elegantel and stylish.with the removal of the orchid head piece and the change of the dark jewel piece to one of colors matching the dress it would have been smashing –the kind of dress that shows up in the couture magazines.
Didn’tfinish my comments–Kenley’s wedding dress was. not only a knock off of current designers but they are all knock offs from the ballet “Swan Lake” which has been around for many,many years. The swans have been wearing the feather top part in tutu lenght forever. Very disappointing judging. Kendley should have been eliminated several sessions ago because she had no talent. Jerrell’s talent and possibilities are enormous as he showed through out . The slightly ethnic looks of K. were very interesting even though the wedding dress was not her best design. Jerrell’s bridesmaid dress was fabulous and would have been a lovely evening dress on it’s own. It was red carpet lovely or maybe NY charity ball lovely..I get the impreshion that some of the earlier commentors have no use for anything with the least bit of drama or flair.
Kenley won’t win anyhow.

Since Jerrell won the wedding dress challenge, I felt that should have assured him a chance to compete in the finale. If the judges couldn’t decide on a loser among the other three, then all four should all have been able to compete, as they did in Season 3. Jerrell won 3 challenges during the competition, and Kenley only one, and the reason for that one escapes me. Michael Kors was right when he said her wedding dress was a knock-off of Alexander McQueen. If you take a look at the two dresses side-by-side, you will see what he meant. After the comments the judges made to her in the last episode, she is still whining and accusing the other designers of “sabotaging” her. My only hope is that she will get her come-uppance in the finale. It would be a shame for her whining, obnoxious, disrespectful and rude behavior to be rewarded, especially when her competition are designers who actually have talent.
Korto’s designs are great if you are from Africa. Leanne’s are pretty if you are between the ages of 17 and 25 and have money to blow because once you wash or dry clean, those fashions will NEVER look the same. I don’t know what planet Jarell is from, wasn’t he Superman’s father? His designs are nothing this planet is ready for. Unfortunately, that leaves Kenley; I love the fifties look, but not every day. I do not like her attitude, but she is young and was raised around grungy men, give her a break! I think once she’s been in a while, she will mature and be a fine designer.

I think they made the right decision about letting it be a year for the girls and that Leanne was the best through the whole entire season. I really really really really really really really really really realy leanne and the definitely made the right decision about her wining the whole thing. At first I really wanted Kenley to win but she got really anoying and then started to grow on me again even though there was no way I was going to give up on leanneimal the nature bug who is just like me and go back to liking Kenley more again.

Some of his designs towards the beginning were just plain bad. It’s almost as if he discovered himself as a designer on the show. Kenley, Leeane, and Korto really deserve it. Jerell had a really great TV personality, but that’s not what the purpose of show is for. He’s got talent but is clearly not the best. I also wish everyone would stop giving Kenley crap. She’s a great designer, and might not have your favorite personnality, but she definitely deserves to be at New York Fashion week. Put personalities aside and I say, let the best “designer” win.

Notice that the question is NOT: Which dress do you like the least? If that is the question, I am afraid that Korto — whose other lovely lovely garments (every single one of them) are the only ones I can describe in accurate detail — is the one I would pick. I cannot explain the decisions of the judges, which have seemed particularly inconsistent this season.

I am shocked that Kenley is still sewing. For the past two weeks her designs were horrible, yet she remains on the show. Her final collection is nothing but a rehash of her previous designs. By the way the judges were cooing about the ugly dresses she made for her final collection, I will not be surprised if they let HER win. In seasons past, contestants have been cautioned about making vintage clothing, but Kenley making vintage clothing is OK. Even DVF pretended that Kenley’s flowered KMART frock was beautiful!
I think that Leeanne is probably going to win because I don’t think the judges appreciate the ethnic tones in Korto’s designs. They prefer the safe don’t rock-the-boat pleated designs of Leeanne, whose clothing only fit the slightest of figures. This is why she stole Suede’s model because even Karalyn was too big for them.

I’m so tired of this Kenley bashing. Please. She may act like a spoiled brat sometimes, but this whole group of finalists needed an attitude adjustment now and then. Kenley is there because she designs creatively with a distinct point of view, she sews beautifully, and she creates fashionable garments (even if you don’t like her style). She’s been one of my top designers since the beginning, and her bridal gown was my favorite of the four. I was personally afraid that she would not make it past the Tim fiasco. Her response to him was appalling, but I think she and Tim moved past it. Remember people, this is reality tv. They have to put a show together from lots of footage to give drama to the story line. The people we see on tv are, at least in part, characters created through editing. We’re seeing one week condensed into an hour.
This is the first time that my favorite three made it to the finals, and I can’t wait to see each collection. Enough with the snarkiness!

Hey Everyone,
I am a huge Project Runway fan! I think that all of the four designers left were amazing! They each are so different but so good. Leeanne is very geometrical and sophisticated. Korto is very ethnic and beautiful. Jerrel is crazy and fun. Kenley is very 50’s-60’s, funky. I dont know if Jerrel should have gone. I really would have loved to see more of his collection. I think Korto is a great designer, but the wedding dress was a big no! Kenley is so obnoxious it is hard to deal with for any longer. Also, everything she does has been done! In her final line, I would like to see something different from her. Leanne’s line seems like its gonna be great but everything will look very similar…. i am very excited!!!!!!

I am so disappointed in the elimination of Jerell.
My first objection is he won the challenge to determine who was to go to Bryant Park. So why was he punished because the judges could not decide who to eliminate. If the elimination choice was too hard, then Jerell should of had the first spot for Bryant Park,secured by his win of the challenge. Then the other three designers would have to compete for the two remaining spots.
Jerell,althought I was not fond of his wedding dress or bridesmaid dress, had won his spot for Bryant Park. And I was curious about his collection.
If we are being fair, Kenley should of been eliminated with the challenge when she dressed Leeann as hip hop–Look I’m 56 years old and I still could see Leeann was not hip hop. Kenley did what she wanted like the spoiled child she is. I just hope, Jerells talent is rewarded in the future.

So sad to see Jerell go…Korto had the weakest design. Thought Jerell showed the most promise from the little peek of the lines we got to see. I’m bored with Leanne, Korto’s designs are nice - not great. Kenley, let’s just hope that she grows up a little from this whole experience. Really this season was overall weak in the talent department compared to previous seasons.

I don’t understand how Joe and Suede got to show a collection at Bryant Park. They were both eliminated. Yet I see that their collections are up for auction. If they were given the opportunity to show, why weren;t we priviledged to see the collections on TV?
I love the show and never miss it. Please respond my curiosity is nudging me.

My take on the four finalists:
Kenley has GOT to GO. She is childish, arrogant and rude– she cannot even accept simple constructive criticism. And to use a cliche (because Kenley is a walking one) she is SUCH a one trick pony. ENOUGH of the cutesy little dresses, they were okay the first three times, but after episode 5, it got old, FAST. go home. and quite whining.
Jerrell was sent home too early– I mean, they told the guy he WON what was supposed to be the FINAL challenge, and then they sent him packing. i liked him, it’s too bad. his designs were fresh and innovative, i think if he had the chance to show, he would have been able to put on those “finishing touches” that his end results lacked and the judges were harping on. it was all time constraints. silly decision.
Leanne is good, but she is so…flat. Very boring, dull, almost sulky at times. Just her personality is so dry. Her designs are good, not SUPER, but well constructed and well-executed, with nice detailing. I just find something about Leanne a bit irksome, maybe it’s her lack of vibrancy. She deserves to be in the top three for sure though.
Korto is my favourite and I like her looks. I also love that she incorporates her culture into her designs. I like that she has overcome adversity (Liberia) to be where she is now, and i think it shows in her work ethic and perseverance. I like her bright colour palette and ethnic undertones. I think she could win– either Korto or Leanne, but I hope it’s Korto.

When I look back at other episodes I remeber some other designers that got under my skin and they ended up winning. I have ups and downs with Kennley, but I do have to say that she stands up for what she believes in and that is a very big part of being a designer. If you dont fully believe in yourself then you wont get anywhere. So good for Kennley for not letting people break her spirit. It takes all kinds to make this world go round! She made it further than a lot of people on this earth as far as following her dreams!

You’ve got to be kidding? Kenley made it in? I am shocked. This girl should have been booted a long time ago. That whining, crying, and martyr posturing was sooo hard to take. I hate to think that someone whose (overall) weekly challenges were never received as highly as Jerell’s, would be given this honor. It may not have been his best week….but his overall talent far exceeded hers. She needs a wake up call with that attitude. I hope that she will grow up …..look back at her performance from week to week on television…and use this as a lesson on how to be humble, appreciative and willing to accept constructive criticism. She’ll be in for some hard knocks if she doesn’t “get it” !!

The Project Runway Final 1 was preemted by Housewifes of Orange County. I came to the website to see who did not go to the final 3. Looking at the dresses, the two most attractive dresses were Kenley and Leanne. I thought Jerrell’s was the worst dress. I would like to have voted for Kenley because her attitude has been like a three year old. I kept waiting for her to be voted off. It seemed like she was in the bottom two for most of the show. But, I must admit her dress is the better dress of all four. Still, she will not do well in the fashion business with her attitude. No one will work with her or for her. This is too bad, since she does have the talent. Maybe she should see a therapist to help her through her anger issues.

I am so sad to see Jerrell go. Although i agree his wedding dress was a little over done, and the fabric on bottom did make it look dirty, I still loved the flowers he put on his bridesmaid dress. From the few outfits I saw his collection was defiantly my personal favorite. I really thought that judging purely on the wedding dress and bridesmaid dress Korto should have been eliminated, although I have been a big fan of hers throughout the season. Kenley really needs to stop all that talking back to the judges. I’m amazed she has not gotten kicked off yet, although Santino from season ….. I think it was 3 also did a lot of back talking and made it to the end also. I am sooo angry that I dont get to see the rest of Jerrell’s collection. I think Leeanne is going to win although i think her collection so far is very over cohesive.

You guys can continue hating on Kenley. But the fact remains–her dresses obviously hold some merit, because she’s still here. Her designs are unbelievable cute. You can hate her personality if you wish, but that is no reason for her to be auf’d. Personality =/= Talent.
Leanne should get first place, Kenley second. I love Leanne’s polished, yet soft, sleek, and whimsical style.
Jerell’s designs were garish and almost grotesque.
I like Korto, but her designs just don’t do it for me. They all seem sort of frumpy. And she needs to invest in a brazirre.

Kenley makes for good TV. i could see her getting her own show like tabitha’s salon takeover. i like how she is so bold to disagree, while everyone else is cowering. she is no wimp. her designs r more for broadway though. she would be a great costume designer.

I agee with someone’s earlier comment - Jerrell got SCREWED!! He won the “who goes to Bryant Park” challenge and then got sent home anyway? Totally apart from anything else, that was bad form on the part of the producers, almost to the point of the old bait-and-switch.
Moving beyond that . .. if the decision was actually based solely on the wedding and bridesmaids dresses, then Korto should’ve been out - which would’ve been a shame, because most of her stuff has been completely awesome and so interesting and unique. I have seen several people say that they thought Jerrell’s wedding dress was too over the top, but 1) it seemed more well-made than Korto’s, 2) it actualy looked like a wedding dress, 3) his bridesmaid’s dress was MUCh better (does ANYONE argue with this?), and 4) personally, I loved Jerrell’s wedding dress. but if the decision wasn’t solely based on JUST the wedding and bridesmaid’s dresses, but also took into account the totality of their work - HOW COULD THEY POSSIBLY HAVE CHOSEN KENLEY OVER JERRELL????? Her personality aside (which everyone agrees is childish and will be a serious impediment to her career as a designer, or hell - any career she might pursue) - her work just hasn’t been anywhere near as good as his, as reflected throughout the entire series by the results of the judging. So I am left with a strong suspicion that this decision was made on the basis of “what will make for good/dramatic TV” - and since there’s been the big Kenley feud, then of course keeping her around will add to te drama. VERY disappointing, Bravo!

What is not mentioned here that I have seen is that the judges only see the final product, not the edited portions that get televised - get it people it’s TELEVISION, do you want to see everyone all happy with each other every shot? Talk about boring. I think alot of people would vote for Kenleys designs if they didn’t have a name attatched to them. There should be a contest online like was done before for favorite designer but just put a picture from each designer - from all that began this season - have a prize for that. Real UNBIASED contest.

I am so glad to see that Leanne is in the final 3!!!! She loves what she does and just by looking at her designs you can tell they are “Leanimal”.
As for her demure and quiteness-it is nice to see! Like a breath of fresh air. Leanne proves you don’t have to be loud and abnoxious to be a winner!

Honestly, I just don’t understand why Kenley still there. Mr. Kors made comments that she could make different styles, but I just don’t see it. It’s always the same style, just different variations and colors. I wouldn’t not wear her dress to my wedding even it I was paid to do it, on the other hand Jerell’s dress I would - not the flowers though.
But going back to Kenley’s designs, can someone please open my eyes and explain what I don’t see - that her styles are different? Tim, maybe you read the blogs.

this is my first season watching project runway and I loved it. However, I’m disappointed that Kenley is still there. She’s done the same 40-50’s wear through the whole show. I think she should’ve gone home weeks ago, especially with her attitude. I’m wondering if the show is rigged just to keep the drama there. I’m not sure it I’ll watch again because Jerrelle, Korto and Leanne should’ve been the final three. I thought because Jerelle won the challenge he would’ve been automatically in and going to Bryant Park?? Can someone explain to me why he didn’t get to go to Bryant Park. I thought Jerelle’s designs were hot and better than Korto’s

Philip, you are so correct…I thought I would never watch Bravo again after that hiedous Tabitha got her own show. she didn’t even win and she was so bad that she hated the other stylist and her parting remarks “that’s ok, he didn’t make” she is horrible and now on Project Runway that horrible rude and obnoxious Kenley is still there…it’s good tv to some but it’s amazing that Heidi being such a lady that she would tolerate…Kenley laughing when other designers were critiqued and then the last thing I remember is Hedi saying “that wasn’t elegant or something like that and Kenley (making her point more stongly) replied, I wasn’t going for Elegant Heidi…..so rude…
Michael Kors is right she might just shoot a buyer her or there if they say her stuff is not good.

My, don’t we have different opinions. The judges know what they are doing; give them some credit. Kenley is still there because she has great potential, craftsmanship, and her point-of-view is retro. So what! Plus, she gives the show some drama. You must admit, she has everyone talking about her. What would Project Runway be without Kenley for an hour? Dry and boring with talented designers sewing away and discussing how their dream is to go to Bryant Park.
Anyway, the last challenge was to determine their spot, regardless of how they did in the past. Jerell’s negative comment about the bridesmaid dress/challenge may have caused his downfall as well as his overthetop design.
I have no idea who will win. I respect all three designers, at least from their “point-of-views”. I have an architectural background and enjoy Leanne’s translations and workmanship; I love retro and Kenley’s spunk; And Korto has beautiful craftmanship and cultural flare.
I am excited to see how they “make it work” together.

I’m glad the producers dispensed with the show where all the designers come back and sit in the bleachers to bitch and moan about the experience and each other. What I would like to see is an episode that edits together the runway challenges of the final three designers and forces the judges (and perhaps Tim Gunn) to talk about each of these pieces as if they were a collection –even including the pieces that missed or nearly sent a designer home. Much of this earlier work qualified a designer to “go on to the next challenge,” but audiences were never privileged to hear what the judges actually thought about the work because they only discuss the best and the worst. It would be interesting to see all the challenges of the designer finalists together, to see if a design style emerged in the collected work of a particular designer despite the special problems of a particular challenge, and to hear judges expectations from a particular designer after reviewing the work of the finalist as an assembled “collection,” even though the work was never intended as a collection but as individual responses to a specific design problem.

His wedding dress was definitely the most elegantel and stylish.with the removal of the orchid head piece and the change of the dark jewel piece to one of colors matching the dress it would have been smashing –the kind of dress that shows up in the couture magazines.

Didn’tfinish my comments–Kenley’s wedding dress was. not only a knock off of current designers but they are all knock offs from the ballet “Swan Lake” which has been around for many,many years. The swans have been wearing the feather top part in tutu lenght forever. Very disappointing judging. Kendley should have been eliminated several sessions ago because she had no talent. Jerrell’s talent and possibilities are enormous as he showed through out . The slightly ethnic looks of K. were very interesting even though the wedding dress was not her best design. Jerrell’s bridesmaid dress was fabulous and would have been a lovely evening dress on it’s own. It was red carpet lovely or maybe NY charity ball lovely..I get the impreshion that some of the earlier commentors have no use for anything with the least bit of drama or flair.

Since Jerrell won the wedding dress challenge, I felt that should have assured him a chance to compete in the finale. If the judges couldn’t decide on a loser among the other three, then all four should all have been able to compete, as they did in Season 3. Jerrell won 3 challenges during the competition, and Kenley only one, and the reason for that one escapes me. Michael Kors was right when he said her wedding dress was a knock-off of Alexander McQueen. If you take a look at the two dresses side-by-side, you will see what he meant. After the comments the judges made to her in the last episode, she is still whining and accusing the other designers of “sabotaging” her. My only hope is that she will get her come-uppance in the finale. It would be a shame for her whining, obnoxious, disrespectful and rude behavior to be rewarded, especially when her competition are designers who actually have talent.

Korto’s designs are great if you are from Africa. Leanne’s are pretty if you are between the ages of 17 and 25 and have money to blow because once you wash or dry clean, those fashions will NEVER look the same. I don’t know what planet Jarell is from, wasn’t he Superman’s father? His designs are nothing this planet is ready for. Unfortunately, that leaves Kenley; I love the fifties look, but not every day. I do not like her attitude, but she is young and was raised around grungy men, give her a break! I think once she’s been in a while, she will mature and be a fine designer.

I think they made the right decision about letting it be a year for the girls and that Leanne was the best through the whole entire season. I really really really really really really really really really realy leanne and the definitely made the right decision about her wining the whole thing. At first I really wanted Kenley to win but she got really anoying and then started to grow on me again even though there was no way I was going to give up on leanneimal the nature bug who is just like me and go back to liking Kenley more again.
