As you probably know by now, we here at SeenON! are obsessed with Project Runway (and it’s not just because we have all the designers’ clothes sent here to the office before they are auctioned off on ProjectRunway.com, though it helps!) That’s why we were so thrilled to hear that Project Runway is officially moving to Lifetime, meaning the already-filmed Season 6 will start to air sometime this summer! After coming off of a euphoric high last night following the premiere of Project Runway Season 5, it was exciting to hear more great Project Runway news this morning. The 2008 Emmy Nominees were revealed today and The Weinstein Company has been nominated for five Emmys for their hit show, Project Runway. These nominations are:

Outstanding Cinematography For Reality Programming

Outstanding Directing For Nonfiction Programming

Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality Competition Program

Outstanding Picture Editing For Reality Programming

Outstanding Reality Competition Program

The Weinstein Company has received nominations for seven other Emmys for Project Runway since its debut in 2004. Congratulations to the Weinstein Company and all the nominated producers. Good Luck!
